Center for Creative Youth at Wesleyan University
2014 Summer Session: June 29 — July 26
The Center for Creative (CCY), a summer pre-college residential program, offers talented high school students four weeks of intensive study in the arts at Wesleyan University, one of the country's most distinguished liberal arts colleges. CCY is a program of the Capitol Region Education Council and is sponsored in collaboration with Wesleyan's Center for the Arts.
CCY emphasizes multicultural and interdisciplinary learning, critical thinking and leadership. Each class is designed to enhance students' problem-solving skills in instrumental and vocal music, theater, musical theater, creative writing, dance, filmmaking and visual arts, which includes photography.
