Year Two Planning

The Steering Committee has finalized our theme and topics for Year Two based on teacher and district feedback. We will stay with the overall theme of freedom.  There will be two topics: 

  1. Connecticut and the American Revolution – or  
  2. The Industrial Revolution and Immigration

There will be a separate “track” and schedule for each of the two topics. Teachers will chose one topic and will be required to attend each of the three dine & discuss sessions and one of the two field trips.

Primary source workshops, curriculum sessions, etc.

Interns – Neag School of Education interns are providing assistance to TAH teachers by researching topics, locating primary source documents, developing web quests, etc. Teachers are assisting them by inviting them to observe classes and at times, co-teach lessons. 

If you are a participating teacher and would like assistance from an intern, please feel free to e-mail them directly.
