Susan has a Master's Degree in Education and has worked in Adult Education since 1989. She has primarily been an Advisor/Assessor in the External Diploma Program (EDP) and Coordinator at Wallingford Adult Education. She was presented the CAACE Crystal Apple Award for Outstanding Educator in High School Completion in 1999. She has served as the lead EDP Trainer for the State of Connecticut since 1998. In this role she provides training and technical assistance for all EDP sites and their staff throughout the state. She was awarded the Outstanding Advisor/Assessor by NEDPC in 1996, and has been the President of NEDPC (National External Diploma Program Council) since 2000. Sue is a CASAS Writing Assessment Trainer and coordinates the ATDN Scoring Service for the state.
