| The Connecticut Competency System (CCS) helps Connecticut's adult student service providers meet requirements to document learner improvement in English literacy, reading, writing, listening, numeracy, and problem solving on a common national reporting scale. The system focuses on the functional application of basic skills in specific employment and life skill contexts.
The Connecticut Competency System utilizes the only adult assessment system to be validated by the U. S. Department of Education Program Effectiveness Panel. These pages describe ATDN's systematic training for instructors, counselors and administrators. Ongoing technical assistance and program support follow training. |
