Adult Programs

Direct Care Training
Occupational skills training program that prepares individuals for entry-level positions in the human service field. This 14-week program includes a classroom component, computer literacy, and an unpaid internship in a human service agency. Job readiness and job placement assistance are included.

English as a Second Language
Three levels of ESL are available – Basic, Intermediate and Advanced/Professional

Basic & Intermediate ESL
Basic & Intermediate ESL provides 13 weeks of intensive ESL. The classes meet 16 hours per week and provide instruction in reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Computer literacy and Job readiness skills are included, and unpaid internships are provided to Intermediate level students. Program is free for qualified individuals.

Professional/Advanced ESL
Professional/Advanced ESL provides 6 hours per week of training for 15 weeks. It is intended for individuals interested in improving English skills to prepare for college or employment. Cost is $350 per person.
