Eligibility
To be eligible for the Capitol Region Choice Program, students must be residents of Hartford and attend a public school (K-12) in Hartford at the time of application. Students enrolled in private or other non-public schools are not eligible for this program.
Eligible siblings are given priority consideration when placements are made and, where possible, placed in the same district.
Enrollments are offered by school districts on a space-available basis by grade, and random lotteries are used to place students into available slots (i.e., parents/students do not select the schools they attend).
New families are strongly encouraged to attend one of our Open Houses to learn more about our program, the application process, and to hear
other important information to help determine if this program is a good fit
for you and your child(ren). For more information, please call 524-4010. |
