Roger L. LaFleur, former Construction Division director now serving as a CREC project manager, has been actively involved in building construction for more than 30 years as a builder, general contractor, and developer. For the past thirteen years, his experience has been exclusively in school construction. He served as project manager for the Town of Suffield and was significantly involved in the coordination and direction for renovations, additions, and code upgrades to all school facilities.
At CREC, LaFleur provided project oversight for the construction of the John J. Allison Jr. Polaris Center in East Hartford and the River Street Autism Program at Coltsville in Hartford. LaFleur is a certified, state-licensed building official and has extensive knowledge of current building codes, which impact renovations and construction. LaFleur’s prior experiences provide a platform for his practical, hands-on approach to school construction procedures from design to completion. |
