Arum & Associates works with a CT licensed aggregator, Turris Associates, who solicits electricity generation prices in the marketplace on behalf of its members through The CT Consortium for Purchasing of Electricity (the Electricity Consortium).

Members submit their electric bills for each account which is used to project future usage. As new members sign-up and substantial electricity load is identified, the Electricity Consortium locks in a guaranteed kw/hr rate (for generation only). This rate is guaranteed through December 31, 2009. Members pay for the amount of electricity they use, but are restricted to a 10% bandwidth fluctuation from projected usage.
