The CT Consortium for Cooperative Purchasing (the CT Consortium) offers competitively bid paper, office/classroom/art/health supplies, audio visual and office machines and service, assistive technology, and HVAC filters and belts to all CT schools, municipalities, non-profit organizations and libraries. The Consortium is offered by CREC in collaboration with Arum & Associates.
A school district, municipality, non-profit organization or a library may join for an annual fee of $75. When a school district joins, their town offices are automatically eligible to purchase off the bids. This fee entitles the school or organization to over 1,200 competitively bid products from over 30 different vendors.
The consortium bid period runs from April 1 through March 31. The consortium currently has over 140 members from Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire and accepts new members throughout the year.
