The CREC Constitution
The CREC Constitution outlines in official detail the primary purpose of the Council as well as member duties and meeting requirements. The Constitution also provides the official wordings to articles dealing with appointments of officers and employees, duties of those officers, Council quorum, expected commitment, fees/budgets, and committee responsibility.
The constitution is available for you to download here. You will also find a copy of it in your Council Handbook, which you receive the first time to come to a Council meeting.

The Council Agenda Map provides the official order of events at a Council Meeting as well as explanatory definitions of each call to order or action.

Council and Board of Directors
- Fifteen (15) members of the Council also serve on the Board of Directors of CREC.
- The Board has primary responsibility for setting budgets and policy as well as hiring and evaluating the Executive Director.
- Board members provide an informational link between their districts and CREC. Board members also provide feedback on CREC services and communicate local needs that CREC could meet.
Board/Council Leadership
In accordance to the CREC Constitution, some CREC staff must attend Board/Council meetings to provide information, as needed.
