The goal of this division of CREC is to assist school districts in their efforts to reduce racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic isolation of Greater Hartford students by initiating, developing and managing innovative, high quality, interdistrict educational programs.
Grants
The goal of Grants & Development is to serve the needs of school districts and other non-profit organizations to secure funding to support educational programs that benefit all learners.
Magnet Schools
This Division's goal is to reduce racial, ethnic and socioeconomic isolation of students by initiating, developing and managing innovative educational programs.
Operations, Facilities &
School Construction
The goal of Operations & Facilities is to provide quality professional management services in the pre-construction and transition to operational phases of school building projects.
Student Services
Student Services provides leadership in special education and support services, research-based practice, student achievement, and value-added extensions to programs and services of local school districts.
Teaching and Learning The Institute for Teaching and Learning provides services and support to local school districts and CREC Magnet Schools in the areas of curriculum, instruction and school leadership.
Technical Assistance & Brokering Services (TABS)
This Division develops quality and customized programs and services, technical assistance, consultation and brokering services to clients for improved student learning, job performance and program improvement.
