Welcome to the premier edition of CREC Connections,
a quarterly e-newsletter that will focus on issues of common interest to CREC member districts, with more news for consumers to use best practices in education, district success stories, profiles of educational leaders in our region and notices of education-related events. It is also being distributed to opinion leaders and legislators to share with them what CREC represents – service to its 35 member public school districts that will result in efficiencies, and improved education for the children they serve.
The goal of CREC Connections is to improve the quality of public education by providing helpful and useful information in an easy-to-read format.
It is fitting, as CREC enters its 40th year of service to educators, children and families that we inaugurate our a new method of communicating with our many constituencies. As we celebrate our history, we continue to focus on what is to come, new techniques and new ideas.
