Grant Monies Received
Grant Monies Received The Truancy Court Prevention program, a community partnership between CREC, the Center for Children’s Advocacy, and the Village for Families and Children received a $17,500 grant from the Brown Rudnick Foundation to provide career exploration activities for students enrolled in the program. The Truancy Court Prevention Program helps truant youths from the Hartford region reconnect to school and successfully complete their secondary education.

The Brown Rudnick Foundation’s mission is to improve inner-city education in the communities where the law firm has its office. This year, its law office in Hartford will host a career exploration day for students.

CREC, the Children’s Advocacy Center and the Village for Families and Children thanks the Brown Rudnick Foundation for its wonderful support of the Truancy Court Prevention program.”
