About Integrated Classrooms for Students with Low-Incidence Disabilities
These Classrooms within the CREC region are for students, three to 21 years old, who have multiple disabilities and/or medical needs.
- Staffed by a special education teacher, a registered nurse, and paraprofessionals
- Collaborative services include occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech language pathology, and music therapy
- Curriculum is aligned with Common Core
- Program incorporates inclusion opportunities, community experiences, and blended services
Our goal is to provide quality special education programs for students in public school, hospital, and home settings. Emphasis is placed on using a well-coordinated team approach to meet a student's distinct educational needs.
