Admission
The Academy accepts students who have an interest in pursuing the performing, creative or visual arts as a career, or as an avocation. Students should be aware that academic, creative and performance standards are the same for all students, whether or not an artistic career path is followed. Students must be entering or enrolled in a public high school, and are encouraged to spend a minimum of three years at the Academy. Applications for admission are available through local school districts' teachers and guidance counselors, and from the Academy.
