| Students from participating districts apply to the Academy through the following procedure:

3. Attend an informational meeting at the Academy.
Our admissions process begins in January of each year. Each of our participating school districts commits to a certain number of students that they will fund each year. In school districts where we receive more qualified applications than there are available slots, we hold a random computerized lottery. This lottery determines who is accepted from each school district.
We accept applications from all students. Admittance into the Academy depends on the availability in each school district. The lottery is held in the beginning of March each year. Applications received after the lottery will be placed on the waiting list for their school district. We accept applications until August 30 of each year.
