The CREC Preschool laboratory school is dedicated to quality programs that help children learn and grow. It also provides CREC’s MPTP education students with an on-site environment for observing and practicing the methods and theories taught in our academic program.
The Lab School serves as a valuable learning experience for many of our high school students as they observe children, shadow teachers, participate in planning and engage in learning activities and experience their practicum throughout the year.
A staff of highly qualified, experienced professionals oversees the students with advanced degrees in Early Childhood Education and related fields. The preschool staff includes two CT certified early childhood teachers and two Early Childhood Assistant Teachers.
