The global and international studies theme of the Metropolitan Learning Center emphasizes interdisciplinary global understandings. Opportunities for international exchange exist at all grade levels. A range of Advanced Placement (AP) courses are available, and both technology and world languages play integral roles across the curriculum. The school is designed around how the pre-adolescent and adolescent brains learn, and the school is considered the students’ workplace. Their jobs are to learn, to grow and to give back to the community.
