Dress Code
Two Rivers Magnet School Dress Code
Boys
Girls
Acceptable

Pants
Docker style pants, chinos, corduroys or dress pants in any color.  All pants must be worn no lower than the top of the hip, and belt loop pants must be worn with BELTS.

Tops
Solid and patterned shirts with collars/polo style shirts, turtlenecks/mocknecks which are tucked in.  All button shirts must be worn buttoned to the top 2 buttons.
Sweaters and sweater vests over collared shirts/turtlenecks/mocknecks or sweaters with turtleneck collars built in.

Footwear
Shoes/sneakers with properly tied shoelaces, or sandals

Dresses/Skirts
Dresses  (with sleeves) or skirts of reasonable length and coverage (no more than 4 inches above the knee and with slits no more than 4 inches above the knee.

Pants
Docker style pants, chinos, corduroys or dress pants in any color. All pants must be worn no lower than the top of the hip, and belt loop pants must be worn with BELTS.

Tops
Solid and patterned blouses with collars/polo shirts are preferred. All button shirts must be worn buttoned to the top 2 buttons.
Other acceptable blouses for girls include solid and patterned shirts with a curved/v-neck neckline that is no more than 1 inch below the collar bone.  Shirts must cover under arms (sleeves should cover half the arm), back, and must be long enough to cover midriff (stomach area) during regular movement (This includes sitting down, raising arms, or bending over).
Sweaters with appropriate necklines (no more than 1 inch below the collar bone)

Footwear
Shoes/sneakers with properly tied shoelaces, or sandals

Unacceptable

cargo pants, or pants with oversized/expandable pockets or with zippers, wide leg pants, carpenter pants, or zip off pants
oversized pants that sag below the waistline
long sleeves worn under a short sleeved collared shirt

cargo pants/skirts or pants/skirts with oversized/expandable pockets, carpenter pants/skirts, wide leg pants, capris or cropped pants where the ankle is exposed, spandex/knit stretch pants, leggings, shorts, or skorts
shirts with a key-hole neck, deep v-neck, scalloped neck, criss-cross neck, plunging neckline
ANY clothing that allows for the exposure of the open back, bare midriff, or underarms
