The Two Rivers Magnet Middle School’s building was designed by DuBose Associates, an architectural firm based in Hartford, and since its completion in 2002, the facility has twice won recognition from the architecture industry for its outstanding design.

School Planning & Management named Two Rivers the grand prize winner in their 2004 Education Design Showcase and recognized DuBose with an “Outstanding Architecture and Design in Education” award.  In 2003, Metal Architecture awarded its top Design Award to DuBose for their work on Two Rivers.
