The application process for the 2009 – 10 school year is now closed.

Late applications can be submitted at the Regional School Choice Office (RSCO) beginning Monday, March 2, 2009, and will be date and time stamped.

Families wishing to change information sent through a previously submitted application should contact the RSCO at (860) 757-6188 by Wednesday, March 4, 2009.

(incoming sixth graders)

Open houses run from 6:00–7:30 p.m. on the following dates:

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009
Tuesday, January 20th, 2009
Thursday, January 29th, 2009

Application Deadline
February 17th, 2009

Additionally, we will also accept applications for students going into 7th and 8th grade in Fall 2009. The student will be put on the waiting list for the specific grade. If an opening becomes available, and your child's name is the next one on the waiting list, the Guidance Deptartment will contact you.

Once we receive your application, a confirmation letter will be mailed to you, stating that your child has been put on the lottery for 6th grade or that your child has been put on the waiting list for 7th or 8th grade. If you do not receive a letter of confirmation within two weeks after submitting your application, please contact Ms. Rodriguez in the Guidance Deptartment at 290-5320, x3150.

With the passing of the new legislation, Two Rivers Magnet Middle School can now accept applications from families outside of the five participating districts ( East Hartford, Glastonbury, Hartford, Manchester and South Windsor) should there be openings in the sixth and seventh grade.
