CREC University of Hartford Magnet School to Hold Take Apart Lab Night
Summary:
CREC’s University of Hartford Magnet School will hold its annual Take Apart Lab Night on February 11.
The event will teach the school’s second and third-grade students and their families more about what is inside every-day inventions, such as phones, computers, DVD players, and broken toys. At the event, they will be able to explore how these commons objects work by using real tools and safety equipment.
Take Apart Lab Night is designed to build student curiosity and offer real-world learning, and the event will help students as they prepare to both design and build their own inventions for the Connecticut Invention Convention.
