CREC Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts to Present Dance Concert
Summary:
The CREC Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts will present “Merging: A Dance Concert” on February 13 and February 14 at the Black Box Theater at the Theater for the Performing Arts in Hartford.
Both performances start at 7:30 p.m.
The performances will showcase the CREC Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts’ dance curriculum. “Merging: A Dance Concert” is directed by Alexa Melonopoulus, a faculty member at the school, and will feature choreography by several other faculty members, including Jeanne Giroir; Lynn Peterson, Corrine Bates; Christopher LaFleche, and Christine Perry. Hartford-based Works/Laura Glenn Dance revival choreography will also be used.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. To purchase tickets, call 860-757-6388 on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets can also be bought in person at the CREC Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts’ box office, and they can be purchased online at www.crec.org/theater.
