(HARTFORD - September 26, 2011) The Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) was recognized as an Outstanding Top Workplace at The Hartford Courant/Fox CT Top Workplaces 2011 awards last Thursday at the AquaTurf in Southington.

Awards were based on employee surveys at companies and nonprofits with at least 50 people in Metro Hartford and eastern Connecticut. CREC was one of five companies in the state selected for the award in the Large Company category.
