
The Regional School Choice Office (RSCO) is finalizing the lottery for the first round of Open Choice placement into the suburbs. Thanks to the cooperation of the superintendents and other district administrators, Open Choice has received nearly 400 new seats for the 2013-2014 school year.

This is FREE Professional Development opportunity for Open Choice school leadership teams to learn culturally relevant practices, participate in a bus tour, and develop action plans for improved school climate.
July 16-17, 2013, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Open Choice Office, 34 Sequassen Street Hartford. This is a free training workshop, but space is limited.

Our Summer Academy provides instructional development in the areas of reading, writing and math as well as enrichment activities. It will be held at Two Rivers Middle Magnet School in East Hartford from July 1– 26, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Transportation, meals, supplies and field trips are provided for participating students for a $25 registration fee.
