Outpatient Mental Health Clinic for Children & Families

About Outpatient Mental Health Clinic for Children & Families

The Polaris Outpatient Mental Health Clinic for Children and Families, licensed by the Department of Public Health and the Department of Children and Families, provides high-quality mental health services to children (pre-K through adolescence), adults, and families in the community. Taking a strengths-based approach, clinic staff work with clients to identify treatment issues and establish a treatment plan for care.

Recognizing the prevalence and effect of acute and prolonged trauma in the lives of many of the children and families in the community, all Polaris programming is offered from a trauma-informed perspective as adapted from the Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC) framework.
