About Student Learning Objectives Audit
The State of Connecticut's new requirements for educator evaluation call for "Forty-five percent (45%) of a teacher's evaluation to be based on attainment of goals and/or objectives for student growth ". Every teacher in Connecticut will have to define measureable objectives for student learning. Ensuring that these goals are crafted in such a way as to result in a fair and valid evaluation of student performance and teacher efficacy is critical. CREC staff are available to assist districts in reviewing Student Learning Objectives, including constructive critiques and suggestions for improvement.
