The Parent Series
The Parent Series began in 1996 as a series of evening meetings for all families, but especially those families with special needs children. The purpose of the Parent Series is to provide information on a wide range of topics to parents. The Parent Series has included presentations, videotapes and discussions on:
Autism and Asperger's Syndrome
Support for Siblings of Special Needs Children
The Love and Logic Approach to Parenting
Social Service and Legal Issues for Adult Students
Medications Used with Special Needs Children
Anger Management Workshops
Advocacy for Special Needs Children
Family Computing for Preschool and Early Elementary Children
