CREC's Soundbridge Program
"A Parent Guide: Early Intervention for Infants and Young Children with Hearing Loss”
Rachel Kane, an 11 year old from Ledyard CT, suffers from bilateral hearing loss and wears hearing aids. Miss Kane attends the Integrated Day Charter School in Norwich CT and is in sixth grade. She testified at the State Capitol in front of the Education Committee hearing regarding H.B. 5357 which pertains to a Bill of Rights for the deaf and hearing impaired children in the State.
