Donna Morelli joined CREC in 2006 as an education specialist with extensive experience as a special education teacher. She is a certified teacher in elementary and special education and has two Masters Degrees - in special education and in Child Welfare.
Donna specializes in the areas of behavior management with training in PBIS, autism, inclusive practices, and paraprofessional training. She assists with program reviews and works with districts to develop and create new program options for children with disabilities. She is known for her in-district workshops on modifications, writing standards-based IEPs and instructional/behavioral strategies.
Donna is CREC's coordinator for paraprofessional training and is on the statewide Paraprofessional Council. Donna is also a mentor/instructor in CREC's Advanced Alternate Route to Special Education Certification.
