Cynthia is an education specialist with extensive experience as a special education teacher. She specializes in the areas of behavior management, autism and inclusive practices. Cynthia works with school districts to develop and create new program options for children with disabilities. She is known for her workshops in districts on modifications, inclusive practices for children with autism, writing standards-based IEPs and instructional/behavioral strategies. Cynthia also facilitates trainings for special education paraprofessionals. Cynthia is a mentor/instructor in CREC’s Advance Alternate Route to Special Education Certification. Cynthia is a certified teacher in elementary and special education.
