The Institute staff works with teachers and district curriculum coordinators, to develop strategies to ensure and promote alignment with the state science frameworks. Areas of focus include developing inquiry-based process skills, curriculum mapping, curriculum design, assessment development and research-based instructional strategies. The institute staff will also support teachers in developing formative assessments that help prepare their students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills on upcoming state assessments.
