CREC Foundation 9th Annual Golf Invitational and Scholarship Event

The CREC Foundation is excited to host its 9th Annual Golf Invitational and Scholarship Event at the Hartford Golf Club. The revenue generated from the golf event directly benefit recipients of the Bruce E. Douglas Scholarship for Overcoming Adversity.

This charity event is based on a four person team best ball scramble format. Awards will be given to each member of the first, second and third place teams.

Prizes will be awarded for the following contests:

  • Longest Drive
  • Closet to the Pin
  • Putting Contest

Attendees can also look forward to raffle prizes and awards. This is the ultimate win-win opportunity to play on one of the finest courses in New England and support an extremely worthwhile local charity all at the same time.

Sponsorship Levels

Title Sponsor – $15,000

  • Twelve player spots in the tournament.
  • Prominent recognition as a Title Sponsor. Exclusive “presented by” recognition on all event publications, press releases, electronic communications, promotional materials, and signage.
  • Company executive will be able to thank players before the shotgun start.
  • Company banner will be prominently displayed at the golf tournament.
  • Exclusive signage at four holes.
  • Full-page advertisement in the event program.
  • Opportunity for a promotional marketing item to be included in player gift bags (item quantity of 250 recommended).
  • Includes Large 18" x 98" Lampost Banners located throughout the CREC Central campus.

Platinum Sponsor – $10,000

  • Eight player spots in the tournament.
  • Prominent recognition as a Platinum Sponsor and the inclusion of a logo in all event publications, press releases, electronic communications, promotional materials, and signage.
  • Company banner will be displayed at the golf tournament.
  • Six tee signs on the course.
  • Opportunity for a promotional marketing item to be included in player gift bags (item quantity of 250 recommended).
  • Includes Large 18" x 98" Lampost Banners located throughout the CREC Central campus.

Gold Sponsor – $7,500

  • Eight player spots in the tournament.
  • Recognition as a Gold Sponsor in event publications, press releases, electronic communications, promotional materials, and signage.
  • Company banner displayed at the golf tournament.
  • Four tee signs on the course.
  • Opportunity for a promotional marketing item to be included in player gift bags (item quantity of 250 recommended).

Silver Sponsor – $4,500

  • Four player spots in the tournament.

Bronze Sponsor – $2,000

  • Four player spots in tournament.

About the CREC Foundation

The CREC Foundation was established in 2005 to support CREC’s programs, missions, and members. The Foundation helps achieve this goal by:

  • Providing financial support for CREC educational programs and services
  • Developing strategic partnerships with other community organizations that help promote and advance CREC’s educational initiatives
  • Supporting teachers and educational leaders by helping to fund programs that build and strengthen skills and abilities
  • Acquiring school and classroom resources for teachers and students
  • Obtaining scholarship funds for disadvantaged students
