CREC Technical Assistance and Brokering Services will screen “One by One: The Teachings of Diana King,” a film directed by Harvey Hubbell, on Friday October 13 at the Theater for the Performing Arts.

This event will help raise awareness of specific learning disability (SLD)/dyslexia and will kick off a series of educational opportunities. These opportunities will allow educators and community members to develop strategies and learn skills that will help them better teach and support students of all ages who have a SLD/dyslexia.

A reception with dinner will start at 5:30 p.m., followed by the screening at 6:30 p.m.

Following the movie, there will be a question and answer session with the Director and SLD/dyslexia experts. They will be answering questions from the audience, which is expected to include parents, teachers, doctors, and students.

Sponsored tickets are available by contacting Jeannette Estrada at jestrada@crec.org or (860) 524-4038.
