Praxis I Preparation Workshops

In Connecticut, a person seeking admission to a teacher education program, or a person who has transferred to the state and applied for certification as  teacher, must meet a specified score on the Praxis I: Pre-Professional Skills Tests, or meet the requirements through a waiver option.  
 
Intensive Praxis I review courses have been developed by the RESC MTR Alliance. Twelve-hour courses will take place at each of the six RESCs during September and October. In addition, a five-session Praxis I Math Course will be offered at CREC and C.E.S.

The Praxis I Preparation Course will take place at CREC on September 27 and October 4.

The Praxis I Math Course will take place at CREC on September 24, Oct. 1, 8, 15 and 22.

Registration is open to all candidates. Financial assistance is being offered to Minority Candidates (Asian, African American, Latino/Hispanic, Pacific Islander/Native American) who meet the selection criteria.
