Program for the Assessment of Special Children (PASC)
The Program for the Assessment of Special Children (PASC) is a center for the review or evaluation of children where there are questions of unusual development.

Evaluations are conducted by Mark Greenstein, M.D., a pediatrician, geneticist, and authority in the field of autism. Evaluations may be conducted in-district or at River Street School in Windsor.

When an overview of multiple issues is needed, PASC can provide, supplement or clarify information for:

  • families
  • medical care providers
  • school districts.

This is accomplished by combining evaluations from medical, genetic and developmental perspectives. Additional focus is directed at working children in whom there are questions regarding unusual patterns of communication, socialization, or autistic spectrum disorders.

PASC focuses on diagnosing children and providing families and professionals with information that allows for informed choices in medical evaluation, care, and educational program development.
