This program was founded by CREC in 2003 to respond to the urgent need of the Montessori community in New England for an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) teacher training center in the Northeast. Its primary focus is to promote education through the scientific discoveries of child development based on Dr. Maria Montessori’s theories. MTCNE serves as a central location for Montessori activities by offering support for alumni and area Montessori schools. Upon successful completion of the training programs, students are awarded the internationally recognized AMI diplomas.

New Elementary Summer Course to begin in 2010!

Thank you for your interest in AMI Montessori Training at the Montessori Training Center of New England (MTCNE). Our next Primary Course is scheduled to begin in the Summer of 2012. A new Elementary Course will begin this Summer 2010, pending AMI approval.
