This nationwide program is designed to help competent high school students understand the way they learn, improve note-taking skills and better prepare for exams. TABS offers this two-day program several times each summer.
This is not a remedial program. For current high school students or those entering high school, The Learner’s Edge will help students identify their preferred learning style; read more efficiently; improve listening techniques; take notes that encourage order and memory; prepare for and take exams; and develop personal potential and effectiveness.
Please join the Capitol Region Education Council and Learning Builders for one of the exciting classes being offered this summer for 8th through 12th graders. A lot of very bright students lack the required organizational skills to perform at their full potential. If you want to give your teens a true academic advantage, enroll them in this difference-making workshop. This intensive TWO-DAY, results-oriented program is designed exclusively for students who are already competent and want to become outstanding students.
Topics Covered: Reading for Results; Learning Style; Meaningful Note Taking; Study Management; Listening and Memory; Test-Taking Strategies
Classes are being scheduled now for sessions in July and August. Please contact Margaret Lacey for dates and locations.
