A series of job-embedded professional development activities emphasizing practical strategies for urban leaders. Some of the topics that are addressed are: How can a Distributed Leadership Model be implemented to Promote Alignment of School Goals, Ethnic/Racial Identity Development Models and What are the Tools for Leading the Change Process. Participants will have an opportunity to share issues in their schools and receive feedback from a variety of presenters as well as their colleagues. Each participant is also mentored by a seasoned administrator. The program is designed to be job-embedded, collaborative and utilizes best practices, research based curriculum development and is tied to the state leader standards.
