The Differentiated Instruction Initiative provides professional development training, technical assistance, and coaching to educators who are interested in differentiating instruction in their classrooms and schools. The initial comprehesive overview informs teachers of the components of differentiation and provides ideas they can implement immediately in their classrooms to help them to begin to recognize and plan for students according to their needs. Additional workshops and support are tailored to assist teachers put differentiation into practice. Coaching provides strategies that will enable teachers to contend with the challenge of maximizing achievement for all students.
