Peg joined CREC in 1994 after over 20 years in public schools as a teacher and administrator. For the past 16 years, she has worked in the TABS division developing and implementing programs to meet the needs of schools and districts that CREC serves.
In her current role as Director of TABS, Peg provides leadership to the TABS division and the many varied projects that meet the needs of schools within CREC and numerous external customers throughout Connecticut. She works closely with district administrators and staff, state agency personnel, and CREC staff to identify needs and create innovative effective solutions such as Alternate Routes to Certification, grant writing services, and brokered staffing.
Peg is a certified teacher and intermediate administrator with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. Her philosophy on creating and maintaining excellent educational services rests on the belief that strong vision and leadership, well informed staff, and a collaborative learning community together will be able to make positive changes that support the success of all students.
