Scott enjoys making connections between education and technology. As manager of the Educational Technology Services department, he values the expertise that his team brings to educators throughout the capitol region. During this coming year, he expects that CREC will expand its capacity to support districts in the delivery of online instruction, and in using digital video in the classroom. Scott hopes to provide timely and effective support for districts seeking to accelerate the benefits that technology brings to teaching and learning.
An educator for 16 years, he taught at the elementary and middle school levels. After leaving the classroom in 2000, he provided technology training to teachers and administrators throughout Connecticut. He has also presented at numerous statewide and regional conferences on the topic of emerging applications of Educational Technology Services.
