Rosemary joined CREC/TABS in March of 2000 as an Education Service Specialist. Currently, Rosemary case manages several large state agency contracts involving her special education background. She also serves as Program Manager for the Coordinated School Health Services initiative. In this initiative, TABS provides professional development and event management in the areas of health and wellness. This service is offered to both educators and students in the CREC region. Rosemary regularly makes keynote speeches and workshops on topics such as Stress Management, Time Management, The Role of Humor in the Classroom, and Self-Care for Better Productivity.
She has over twenty five years of teaching experience in education. She started her career in the New Haven Public school system as a Special Education Teacher. She transitioned to the area of educational technology, while serving as a vocational teacher in an alternative special education program for adolescents at ACES (Area Cooperative Educational Services). Rosemary has a passion for supporting educators and students in developing and maintaining personal wellness. She has served as an editor for a school yearbook, co-founded a theater group and a school newspaper for special needs teenagers, and served on numerous agency-wide committees.
