Tricia joined CREC in February, 2003 as a Program and Event Manager. In her current role, she manages professional development for paraprofessionals. She also manages one of CREC’s newest initiatives, Partners in Educational Leadership. Services within this program include the Assistant Principal Roundtable, New Administrators’ Academy and other job-embedded workshops for administrators. She also coordinates various conference events for the agency.
Tricia has over twenty years of experience in training and education. She began her career as a Special Education teacher for the New London and Hartford school districts. She transitioned her career to the corporate world in which she led the training and development of 500 home office employees and 200 field staff in 25 various locations for the insurance industry. She also has managed all sales and marketing activities for a newly renovated conference center. Her areas of expertise are training and development, event management, sales, marketing, employee development and project management.
