Marg presents professional development workshops locally and nationally to teachers in Grades K-12 on effective learning and instructional strategies, differentiated instruction, inclusive practices, and classroom management. She also provides technical assistance to school districts that is specially designed to support their professional development plans. Marg manages the differentiated instruction initiative for the division. She is also an active, nationally certified trainer for two comprehensive learning strategies programs: Project CRISS (CReating Independence through Student owned Strategies) from Kalispell, MT and the Strategic Instruction Model (SIM) from the University of Kansas, Center for Research in Learning.
Marg is a teacher certified in regular and special education. During her 25 plus years of experience in education, she has taught students of all ages and grades as well as worked with numerous Connecticut school districts. In her role as education consultant, Marg strives to bring practical ideas and strategies to educators so they may be successful in helping their students become more active, independent thinkers and learners.
