Earn a Special Education Cross-Endorsement
The Advanced Alternate Route Program for Special Education (AARC) is an exciting and innovative course of study that provides training and practical experiences based on the NCATE and CEC standards for certified teachers to earn a cross endorsement in special education.
Qualifications for Admission
- A valid teaching certificate
- A minimum of 3 years successful teaching experience in the past 8 years (substitute teaching
experience will be considered)
- The desire to teach students with disabilities as a special educator
- Access to a computer and a working email address
