Program Evaluation

CRG provides independent, rigorous program evaluations and audits that help districts and schools understand what is working, what needs strengthening, and how to move forward with confidence. Our evaluations are built to inform action — not just generate reports.

What Our Evaluation Work Includes

• District and school-level program audits across content areas and operational domains
• Curriculum review and standards alignment studies, including use of the K-12 Instructional Audit Toolkit framework to examine standards alignment, instructional resources, and classroom practices
• Instructional practice observations and coaching cycle reviews
• Special education compliance reviews and improvement planning
• Family and community engagement program assessments
• Support for district evaluation inventory work aligned to CSDE's sensible assessment practices framework
• Federal and state program evaluations, including 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC)

We bring an equity lens to every evaluation. Our team engages stakeholders at every level — students, families, educators, and leaders — and produces findings that are honest, actionable, and grounded in evidence. Rather than hand off a report and walk away, we partner with districts to interpret results and build implementation plans together.

Our evaluation work is informed by the CSDE's Next Generation Accountability Results, Sensible Assessment Practices, and current research from the Center for Assessment and the Research Partnership for Professional Learning (RPPL).
