CREC's assistive technology team provides a variety of assistive technology (AT) services for students with disabilities. Our team includes seasoned experts in the field of AT including speech-language pathologists, assistive technology practitioners and literacy specialists with expertise in AT.

Beyond the functional level, literacy plays a vital role in transforming students into socially engaged citizens. Being able to read and write means being able to keep up with current events, communicate effectively, and understand the issues that are shaping our world. CREC offers a variety of services that can help students with dyslexia or other reading problems.

CREC offers a variety of school-to-career and school-to-post-secondary education services to support district post-secondary transition efforts. Expert consultation is available for school program development, integrated community programming services, technical assistance for teachers, futures planning and IEP planning for 18 to 22-year-old students.
For school districts with questions about the impact of an instructional program or strategy on outcomes for students, CREC staff can assist with the development of evaluation questions, identify appropriate sources of data, and design and implement an evaluation protocol.
